Let us host your Retreat, Camp, or other event.  From 2 to 200 people, for the day, weekend, or week.

   Day Use

When available the Picnic Shelter, Glass House, Dining Room, Main Floor of Oak Lodge, Clubhouse, and other areas can be reserved for day use.  During much of the season we can provide meal or snack service.   There is also a kitchen in Oak Lodge, and a grill can be provided at the Picnic Shelter.

Retreats and Camps

We can serve you best if you make your requests early and give us the most current information you have about your needs, activities, and number of people in your group. We have a responsibility to be good stewards of our facilities, so we ask for your cooperation in making plans so that we can fill the camp to capacity and serve as many people as possible.

Craig Springs is located in the heart of the Jefferson National Forest, approximately 12 miles from New Castle, Virginia.  It is approximately one hour’s drive from Roanoke and about 45 minutes from Blacksburg.

Craig Springs is predominately a youth camp facility during the summer season from Mid-June to Mid-August, Depending on the dates you need we have limited summer openings. We can host your retreat from early Spring to late fall based on availability.  Please inquire about specific dates and to schedule a tour. Email retreats@craigsprings.org to discuss options.

Housing

Housing options include bunk rooms and rooms with twin or double beds.  Rooms in Oak Lodge, Salem, Miami and one room in Monroe are outfitted with twin or double beds.  West Virginia, Brookside Cabins, and one room in Miami are outfitted with a combination of twin or double bed and bunks.  Monroe, Bluefield, Roanoke-Lynchburg, Alleghany, Charleston, and Westover are all bunk rooms.

Food Service

Food Service can be provided during much of the season for groups of 25 or more, or for smaller groups when meals are being provided for another groups onsite.  When requested the cost for food service is built into the per-person event cost that includes all requested meals, housing, and facility usage as requested and approved.  .Food Service is rarely provided on an ala-carte basis.
